Alright I have to admit I have serious issues about taking tamoxifen for five years! The list of possible side effects is just crazy, it increases your risk of womb cancer, liver disease, blood clots, stroke, eye problems to name just a few. It isn’t cheap for another and I don’t have any drug coverage. You can’t have kids while taking it, not that the doctors want me to have kids ever due the the estrogen positive receptors in my cancer. I on the other hand do want children so after the five years I will try and before that maybe adoption could work out.

There are tough choices to make in the coming years and I really don’t like how long my cancer treatments are going to be overall! I can’t decide if I will have reconstructive surgery either, I guess I will have to wait and see what radiation does to my skin.
